Just Giving Website
I set the website up in early 2010, initially to update friends and family about a charity cycle ride that a friend, Mark Preval, and I planned to do from Lands End to John O'Groats.
We completed the ride in June and you can read all about it by clicking here.
The challenge of cycling 'End2End' was conceived to raise money in memory of our son Joseph. Donations were made to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation a charity affiliated to The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. By the time we'd finished we had donations and promises of equipment worth over £13,000!!! More Details. Huge thanks to all that contributed.
It soon became apparent that after a suitable rest I wasn't that motivated to keep up the training log, so it just became a blog, and to be honest it's not updated that regularly. There are other bits and pieces on the site including pictures of our family and our ever growing zoo.
